Ralph Peters, also known as Pete Peters, is a renowned maintenance motivational speaker, writer, and missionary. He is a leader in implementing maintenance best practices, developing effective productivity measurement, and initiating long-term operational improvement processes in both public and private sectors. Peters' vast industry and manufacturing leadership experience have enhanced his value as a maintenance/reliability excellence consultant. He has had profit and loss responsibilities for two large manufacturing plant operations.

Peters is the author of two major books, five handbook chapters on maintenance, 200 published articles, and has spoken in over 40 countries worldwide. His primary goal is to build and enhance TMEI by developing new tools and concepts, writing new books, and creating worldwide services based on measured shop-level results. He is committed to making maintenance excellence a positive attitude worldwide and a standard for consulting and training in the maintenance and reliability field.

Peters holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and IT from Advanced Engineer Course-US Army-Corps of Engineers, an MIE in Industrial Engineering and Information Systems from North Carolina State University, and studied leadership and military commander related topics at Command & General Staff College-US Army. He also holds an Associate's Engineering degree from Brevard College.
