Denisse Olivas is an accomplished marketing and management lecturer, consultant, and researcher. She is the Director of the Center for Hispanic Entrepreneurship at The University of Texas at El Paso. Denisse has extensive experience in multicultural marketing, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and Hispanic business research. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas at El Paso, and an MBA in Marketing from The University of New Mexico–Robert O. Anderson School of Management.

As a marketing and management practitioner, Denisse provides hands-on experience to students and helps them develop their skills and professional portfolios to start or advance their careers. She is deeply interested in understanding the makeup of Hispanic businesses and providing insights to key stakeholders in the community to foster economic development in the region. Denisse has worked as a Hispanic marketing and advertising professional, adjunct professor, program coordinator, print traffic manager, project coordinator, fiscal coordinator, senior department manager, and marketing assistant.
