Our mission at Chance for Success, Street Newspaper focuses on the homeless and marginalized individuals of Tucson Arizona. Chance for Success offers the homeless an opportunity to succeed through self-determined employment, by selling the newspaper for an income. Chance for Success, Street Newspaper will collaborate with local schools and offer unique internships to students, which will allow college students to gain employment experience. Student interns will assist in the creation of the newspaper, all while working with various individuals and the community. The overarching goal of Chance for Success, Street Newspaper is to bring awareness, empowerment and advocacy to all of the members of the community who will benefit from the non-profit program’s products and services.

Mirror  -  Mirror is an iOS mobile app that allows users to crowd source opinions about personal outfits without fear of negative comments or trolling. I was responsible for creating the initial concept of the startup/iOS application as a part of the team that presented the app at CodeDay Atlanta 2015, hosted by StudentRND. My developer team, bolstered by my initial concept won "Best Overall" at CodeDay Atlanta 2015 with the Mirror - Mirror app at the CodeDay competition. In addition, I won Georgia State University's Startup Exchange 2015 Pitch Competition as a result of presenting the business pitch for the Mirror - Mirror team.
