Ethan Lindsey is a Peabody Award-winning radio journalist with nearly twenty years of experience in the field. He is currently the Executive Editor of KQED News, where he oversees news operations and editorial coverage. Prior to this, Lindsey worked as the Senior Managing Editor at Here & Now, a mid-day show produced by WBUR and NPR. He also helped launch a content startup, worked at Marketplace, held various positions at American Public Media, and served as a Correspondent/Producer at Oregon Public Broadcasting.

Lindsey graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in English and completed his Masters in journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. He was also awarded a Fulbright fellowship to report in Germany for a year. Lindsey's journalistic endeavors have taken him around the world, including a memorable trip to Trossingen, Germany, the birthplace of the harmonica.
