Jason Barnhart is a highly skilled and versatile culture observer with a strong background in anthropology and ethnography. He has extensive experience in research model design, focus group administration, usability testing, presentation, writing, and editing. Jason has studied MFA in Photography at the Academy of Art University, Japanese Studies at the University of Maryland College Park, BA in Anthropology and Linguistics at Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, and Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. His complementary skill sets and anthropological methods enable him to conceptualize innovative solutions and communicate ideas effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Jason has previously worked as a User Experience Researcher at Comcast, Market Strategy Lead at CoDA - Center for Digital Archaeology, Brand Manager and Design Lead at Lisair, Editor at Instructables, and Brand Planner at PSFK. He is currently working as an experience strategist at Freelance.
