We are strategists and storytellers - distilling complex ideas into clear and compelling shareable media.As The Buzz Lab's Senior Project Manager, I supervise production of all creative projects while managing project budgets, production timelines, client relationships and the workflow of multiple creative teams.Clients include eBay, Magento, Oracle, PayPal, NetSuite, ChannelAdvisor, Pricewaterhouse Cooper and The Rubicon Project.

Senior Project Manager

MPTF's Palliative Care team (palliative care nurse practitioner, chaplain and social worker) provides support to patients diagnosed with life-altering illnesses, their caregivers and families. The program serves clients in skilled nursing facilities, their homes, on MPTF's Wasserman campus, virtually via phone/online, and in collaboration with UCLA, an outpatient clinic setting. As the Palliative Care Program's Social Work Intern, provided conducted individual assessments and provided case management and counseling as well as individual and family support through the outpatient clinic, individual counseling sessions, home visits, and co-facilitation of two monthly support groups. Developed and offered two community-based workshops on Advance Health Care Planning and the importance of honoring one's faith and values through the completion of an advance directive.

Palliative Care Social Work Intern

Central High School / Tri-C is a dropout prevention and recovery high school that serves students who are referred by numerous community agencies, including: group homes, camp returnee programs, foster care programs and the student discipline and expulsion unit of LAUSD.  As an intern with LAUSD's School Mental Health, I was assigned to four classroom sites where I conducted individual assessments and provided case management and counseling, individual and family support, teacher and classroom support on a weekly basis to address the needs of adolescent students (ages 14-22). Assisted with treatment plans and crisis intervention for these students, many of whom presented a variety of symptoms/issues including: complex trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, gang affiliation, poverty, homelessness and mental illness.

OCCIDENTAL ARTS & ECOLOGY CENTER

Ecological Agriculture Program Associate

The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center (OAEC) is an 80-acre research, demonstration, education, advocacy and community-organizing center in West Sonoma County, California that develops strategies for regional-scale community resilience and the restoration of biological and cultural diversity. OAEC trains and supports “whole communities” — schools, public agencies, Native American tribes, urban social justice organizations, watershed groups and others — to design and cultivate resilience to mounting ecological, social and economic challenges.As Grants Manager, I was responsible for meeting all of the organization's grant application and reporting deadlines in order to secure approximately 30% of OAEC's annual income. Collaborated with staff from multiple programs to strategize and develop program goals and objectives, developing award-winning letters of inquiry, grant proposals and reports for private foundations and government agencies. Successfully researched and secured new sources of funding while nurturing and cultivating OAEC’s major donor relationships. Coordinated numerous special events, recruited and managed volunteers, represented OAEC at conferences, facilitated staff meetings and provided public tours of OAEC's 80-acre site.
