Toru Kawamura, a global business leader with a background in software engineering, has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, developing strategies, and scaling technology products and services. With extensive experience in global business development, technology partnerships, content licensing, program management, and software licensing and distribution, he has successfully executed over 500 business deals in the Android, Mobile Business, Internet Services, and Japan Markets. Kawamura is a former Head of Android Business Development and Partner Programs at Google, as well as a former Global Business Development Manager for Android & Chrome OS Partnerships, and former Head of New Business Development, Japan, and Senior Strategic Partner Development Manager at Google. Before joining Google, he worked as a Lead Product Manager at Saslite Corp. and as a Software Engineer and Project Lead at Hewlett-Packard. Kawamura holds a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Doshisha University.
