John F. Diener is an accomplished entrepreneur and expert in AgriTech and aquaculture. With a wide range of experience across various industries, Diener has built and motivated teams that deliver results.

After studying AB (Hons) in Economics at University of Chicago, Diener went on to earn his Masters of Science in Sustainable Aquaculture from the University of St Andrews, as well as completing an Executive Program on Future Technology at Singularity University.

Diener went on to co-found and serve as the CEO of Akualogix, where he is building vertical farming technology for aquaculture. He has also served as a member of the investment committee at The Trendlines Group and is an AgFunder mentor. Prior to this, he was the COO of AgriProtein and the CEO of PowerBrand HK Ltd, as well as serving as the President of Essilor Australia/New Zealand and Vice President and Managing Director, China at Monitor Group.

Diener's expertise and experience make him a valuable contributor in advising and mentoring startups, investors, and government on developing and scaling AgriTech companies.
