Bisman Deu is a 20-year-old innovator, public speaker, and women's rights activist who is currently studying at the University of Warwick. At the age of 15, she created a cost-effective, eco-friendly building material called "Green Wood" to offer affordable housing to underprivileged communities. Her success earned her an invitation to speak as a keynote speaker and panelist, contributing an essay to a UNICEF flagship publication. She also judged their "Wearables for Good" challenge. Her passion for sustainability, innovation, and women's empowerment led her to create "Colour the World Pink," which promotes leadership and entrepreneurship among girls. She has worked as a management consultant for PwC, a corporate finance intern for Boston Consulting Group, and as a research and communications assistant for BBC in the past. She has also previously interned at PwC, been a mentee at Boston Consulting Group, judged Hult Prize Foundation, and held various roles such as Speaker and Campaigns Officer at UNICEF, Economics Society, and more. At the University of Warwick, Deu earned a BSc in Engineering and a BA in Economics, Politics, and International Studies.
