Adriana Lacy is a distinguished journalist, writer, photographer, and social strategist who has made a name for herself in the world of media with her work on race, sports, and breaking news. She is a Penn State University alumna, where she double majored in Journalism and African American Studies. With more than ten years' experience in the field, she currently serves as a Senior Associate of Audience & Growth at Axios. Previously, she has held positions such as Audience Engagement Editor at the Los Angeles Times, Senior News Assistant at The New York Times, among others.

Adriana's work has been featured in major league Soccer, HuffPost, AXIOS, and campus outlets such as The Underground, Roar Lions Roar, and Lion's Pride. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Underground, Penn State's student media organization.

Adriana has also held various internships and worked for several organizations, including Penn State Athletics, Penn State Office of Annual Giving, and Georgetown University Law Center. She has exceptional writing and social media skills, which she leverages to enhance audience engagement across these platforms.

At Journalism Mentors, Adriana has lent her expertise as a founder, and as a former adjunct instructor at the University of Southern California, she has helped students navigate the complex world of media.
