Adil Haider is the Dean of Aga Khan University Medical College and a Professor of Surgery and Community Health Sciences. He is also a trauma surgeon, public health scientist, and the former Kessler Director of the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Harvard and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Haider is credited with establishing the field of trauma disparities research and is known as one of the leading authorities in patient-centered outcomes research, having authored more than 350 publications.
