Adi Ben-Ari

Adi Ben-Ari is an expert in blockchain and cryptography, serving as the Founder and CEO at Applied Blockchain, a rapidly growing team of blockchain experts with locations in London and Porto. With over 25 years of experience as an integration architect, designer, developer, and project manager, Adi has worked with a variety of blue-chip companies and startups, including Vodafone, T-Mobile, Carphone Warehouse, Nextel, Verizon, KPN, UPC, O2, Amdocs, and Lloyd's Insurance Market.
Adi has developed a variety of real-world blockchain solutions for clients such as Shell, KLM, United Nations, Vodafone, Lloyds Register, Toyota, and over 60 blockchain startups and global corporates. He is regularly invited to speak at major industry conferences and to lecture at University College London. He has also presented blockchain to corporate boards at the C-level, and he has been invited to speak at the UK Parliament and House of Lords.
Adi is a co-inventor and designer of several patents, including those related to blockchain, confidential computing, and mobile payments. His previous hands-on experience includes privacy-preserving technologies such as multiparty computation, zero-knowledge proofs, secure enclaves, blockchains, and smart contracts, as well as big data, analytics, and machine learning.
Adi holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BSc from the University of Bristol. He has previously worked as an integration specialist at Lloyds Banking Group, a data scientist at Vodafone, and a technical project manager at Xchanging, among other positions. Adi has also served as an advisor and co-founder/CTO for companies such as APPII and Tallysticks, respectively.
