Peter Tennessen is a mechanical design engineer with a passion for fast-paced product development, particularly in the energy and materials sectors. He is highly skilled in all facets of design engineering, including concept development, analysis, prototyping, testing, and high-volume manufacturing. Some of his specialties include thermal and fluid systems, sealing and ingress protection, high-voltage electronics packaging, plastic injection molding, plastic welding, aluminum extrusion, and aluminum forming. Tennessen graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has held several senior engineering positions at renowned companies such as Amber Kinetics, Primus Power, Tesla, and Ignite USA. His professional background also includes laboratory assistant experience at Eth Zurich.
