Addwiteey Chrungoo is an experienced roboticist with a strong background in Motion Planning and Applied Machine Learning. His professional journey has included working on a wide range of robotics projects such as Path Planning for Large Off Highway Autonomous Mining Trucks, Motion Planning for Autonomous Highway Semi-Trucks, Robots for Stroke Rehabilitation, and Human Robot Interaction. He has also contributed to Camera models and Projective Geometry in addressing fundamental robotics challenges. Currently, he is focused on bringing Self Driving Semi-Trucks to market, aiming to advance autonomy in the field.
Addwiteey Chrungoo pursued his Master of Science (MS) degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania, solidifying his academic foundation in the field.
Throughout his career, Addwiteey has held key roles in various prestigious organizations: he is the Co-Founder & CEO of a Stealth Startup participating in Y Combinator's W21 batch. Previously, he served as an Entrepreneur at NEXT Canada, a Motion Planning Engineer at Starsky Robotics, a Robotics Path Planning Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he gained valuable experience as a Research Engineer at the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Robotics Institute Summer Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Research Intern at the Institute for Systems and Robotics-Lisbon at Instituto Superior Técnico, among others.
