As an Engineering Consultant, I provided both technical expertise and ad-hoc design and development in hardware and software for MedLok products focused on medication safety and abuse prevention. MedLok products provide medication security and adherence systems designed to secure prescription bottles and medicine cabinets. * Designed early phase hardware for MedLok medication security systems. * Built applications of AI with respect to product biometrics and user interaction.

At Tesla I worked for the Instrument Panel (IP) team within the Interiors group. I took ownership of the Model 3 glove box during the early stages of product launch. I tackled durability and performance issues in closing efforts, speed, and noise leading to tool changes for individual parts and assembly modifications. Working with my manager, our supplier and manufacturer for the Model 3 IP, I devised short, medium, and long term improvements for the glove box.  Additionally, I worked with the team's senior test engineer and his intern to organize and manage validation testing for the glove box improvements. I further qualified improvements through prototyping and trialing new glove boxes.For the Model 3 convergent vain air vent development, I prototyped and created electromechanical test setups to trial structural and kinematic improvements. I also designed packaging for ECALL and ETC speakers for right-hand drive Model 3 IP to meet homologation requirements.

Interiors Engineering Intern

As a Teaching Assistant for the ENGRI 1170, I prepared material for and taught weekly lab sections focusing on introductory design concepts, mechatronics systems, and material properties testing. I held weekly office hours to aid students in material related to course.I also managed and organized the course final competition where students built shoebox size cars to compete in pulling force and speed events.

As a intern in the Closures Engineering Team, I developed and prototyped structural and external components for the Model 3 roof systems. I also benchmarked over 60 competitive roof systems for Model 3 development. For the Model S, I improved a mechanical attachment for a roof component. I developed, prototyped, and tested fixtures for the Model S roof system to improve the manufacturing process, and I trialed front and rear door improvements for Model S.Additionally, I addressed a production cost variance from an investigation of adhesive usage on assembly line. I completed material testing on rubbers and polymers examining thermal set, and I also restructured BOMs for various glass systems in Model X.

Closures Engineering Intern

I worked with the Life Support Systems Team on the crew oxygen delivery system for the Dragon 2 vehicle. I developed and documented testing procedures for flight validation of the valves on the control and relief panels. Testing procedures included internal and external leak, proof, burst, flow, life cycle, pressure cycle, dynamic, thermal, EMI, and various electrical hardware validation testing. I performed numerous successful development tests on valves. I designed and manufactured pressurized test cart as well as tooling for component testing, and I performed structural and modal analysis on select tooling using ANSYS.

I co-facilitated a class of students weekly on the topic of multivariable calculus. In preparation for each class, I created lecture materials and worksheets on relevant topics. I also worked individually with students to adapt to various learning needs. Additionally,  I tutored students in multivariable calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra for Engineering Learning Initiatives from January 2015 to May 2016

My main stakeholders were the research scientists in the pre-clinical imaging sector. I developed a reporting tool in VBA to capture trial data, store it in a native data structure, and generate a relevant report.

As a summer intern, I analyzed and updated corporate workflow structure in preparation for a new CRM, Project Management, and Contract Management integrated system. I compiled and analyzed data from 10 company stakeholders for an installation of this system. I aided in determining the system of choice, <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a>, and designed initial structural layout for platform implementation. Additionally, I determined a line of promotional items for internal and conference use.In the latter weeks of my internship I started development of a reporting tool using VBA in the imaging department with the purpose of streamlining the data collection and analysis process. I completed this project as a Bio-Imaging Consultant after my internship ended
