Adam Thomason

Adam "Lumkile” Thomason is a globally recognized, award-winning documentarian and filmmaker, as well as the CEO of 3 Strand Films. He is a talented speaker and has shared his knowledge to students at Kilns College alongside guest lecturing at Stanford University. Thomason has been in the film industry for 20 years, traveling to over 20 countries including Sudan, Kenya, South Africa, China, Greece, and Palestine to capture his documentaries. He completed his BFA in Fashion/Apparel Design & Marketing at Savannah College of Art and Design before earning his Master's degree in History at Dallas Theological Seminary. He later pursued his Doctor's Degree in History, graduating with a 3.9 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Thomason is an expert in the areas of human rights and justice, documentary filmmaking, and de-colonizing faith. He has a wealth of experience as a Senior Content Producer & Filmmaker at Notofthem.com, Funding Specialist and Analyst at Collision Records, and CEO/Senior Art Director and Brand Manager at Collision Records. His passion to tell untold stories is represented in his first award-winning documentary, "ANUMASA," which looks deeply into the history of slavery in Ghana.
