Adam Tarnowsky

Adam Tarnowsky is a professional with a diverse background encompassing life sciences, academia, and software industry. With experience in project coordination, customer support, user experience design, teaching, speaking, research, and product development, he brings a wealth of skills to the table. Adam is a software enthusiast skilled in PHP/PEAR, mySQL/msSQL, Java, C#, Python/Django, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery. He is particularly passionate about entrepreneurship in web development, user interface (UI) development focused on user feedback, and tackling complex programming challenges in bioinformatics, specifically in functional genomics and proteomics. Adam holds an Award of Achievement in Agile Leadership and pursued a BSc in Computer Science, Cell Biology & Genetics at The University of British Columbia. He has held roles such as Product Manager and former UX Designer/Software Developer at one45 Software, Web Developer, UX Designer & Partner at AppilyWed, and Software Developer, UI Designer & Project Coordinator at eRezLife Software Inc. He has also contributed as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at The University of British Columbia and as a T.R.I.D. Program Intern at VCHRI, Department of Infectious Diseases, in Dr. Michael Grigg Lab.
