Adam Sturm is an entrepreneur and fitness professional based in Brooklyn.1 He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Outbreak Fitness at CrossFit Outbreak, a position he has held since 2014.23 Sturm is also the Co-Founder and principal of Go Doggy, a role he started in 2023.3
In addition to his primary roles, Sturm holds the title of Director of Awesomeness at CrossFit Outbreak. He has been involved in the fitness industry for several years, co-founding multiple fitness-related businesses.5
Sturm's educational background includes attending Bard College.1 He has demonstrated a commitment to community fitness, launching programs such as a kids after-school fitness program in 2018.5 In 2020, Sturm, along with his co-founder Shimi Litkowski, made the decision to change their gym's name in response to the Black Lives Matter protests and controversial remarks made by the then-CEO of CrossFit.46
