Adam Phillips

Adam Phillips is the Chief Operating Officer of VanEck ETFs, a role he has held since 2012 after joining VanEck in 2006. He is responsible for corporate development, strategy, daily operations, and maintaining relationships with key business contacts, including stock exchanges and regulators.12

• Early Career: Phillips began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1992 as an Institutional Sales representative. He subsequently worked at Orbit II Partners, LLC as a Junior General Partner from 1996 to 2003 and then founded LB Trading, LLC, a proprietary ETF trading firm, which he managed until joining VanEck.34
• Experience at VanEck: Since becoming COO, he has been instrumental in the growth and management of the firm’s ETF business. He also served as Chairperson of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) ETF Committee from 2020 to 2022.12

Education:: Adam Phillips holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and American Civilization from Lafayette College, which he completed in 1992.34
