Adam Mooney

Adam Mooney is a dedicated professional with extensive leadership experience in social inclusion, financial services, and community development across Australia, Cambodia, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

Currently serving as the CEO of Grameen Australia since July 2020, Adam works on programs connecting microentrepreneurs, especially women, to realize livelihoods through small business creation using the successful Grameen model of microfinance.

Prior to his current role, Adam served as the CEO of Good Shepherd Microfinance, where he positively impacted over one million people, particularly women and Aboriginal individuals, through economic mobility.

Adam Mooney has a solid background in finance, having worked in various roles with organizations such as ANZ Bank and Concern Worldwide.

Adam is a strong advocate for financial inclusion, as evidenced by his engagements with impactful organizations and roles on several boards in Australia and internationally.
