Adam L'Italien

Adam L'Italien is the Chief Innovation Officer at Liberty Mutual and the head of Solaria Labs, the enterprise incubator focusing on disruptive initiatives for better customer service and future readiness.

Under his leadership, Solaria Labs partners with Liberty teams to innovate in areas like digital ubiquity, sustainability, climate change, new transportation models, insurance value chain disruption, and risk services.

Adam's work has led to the development of digital-first insurance platforms, machine learning for usage-based motor insurance, and real-time weather alerting at Liberty Mutual.

Before his tenure at Liberty Mutual, Adam spearheaded critical projects at BAE Systems, including breakthroughs in integrated sensor processing, data fusion, predictive models, and autonomous systems.

Adam's educational background includes a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University.

His professional journey includes roles such as Chief Innovation Officer, SVP of Global Markets Innovation, VP of Financial Systems at Liberty Mutual, as well as various positions at BAE Systems and TASC, Inc.
