Acknowledging that the two main challenges faced by startup founders early on are fundraising the first round and onboarding a core team, I operated two projects Pro-Bono. 

(1) 'UTR' - Under the Radar Listing. For the right founding teams, I facilitated 8-12 introductions, in 36 hours, to some of Israel's leading VCs & Angel investors while keeping them in stealth. 70% of UTR companies have gone to raise funds, 33% received a term sheet from a direct introduction. 

(2) Builders[1-20] Listing - Recruiting early team members, from Co-Founders all the way to employee number 20 is challenging. They are unique individuals, people who like risk, have relevant experience, and can function in ambiguity. I sent out 50+ opportunities to join early-stage startups which I vetted personally to a list of highly qualified 600+ recipients. The open rate was 77%+ on these listings.

The Excel Ventures Program is an innovative 10-week intensive entrepreneurship training track meant for aspiring entrepreneurs from leading academic institutions in the U.S., or recent graduates thereof, and promising young Israelis. During the program, the participants will undergo an accelerated process of venture creation starting from team formation, ideation, and validation to creating an early stage proof of concept. 
 
The Excel-Ventures Program provides 20 Jewish Americans and Israelis who have shown entrepreneurial potential and leadership skills with an intensive summer experience in Tel Aviv, Israel and is designed to effectively empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. Teams of American and Israeli participants will engage in a fast-paced venture creation curriculum in order to gain effective tools and maximum practical exposure to the "starting-up" process.
