ahhto uses data to reduce insurance cost for new and used car dealerships. Since I have helped build products for our clients for years, I partnered with my co-founder to shake up the archaic insurance industry for dealerships in the US. I am passionate about making industries data-drive and that is what we do at ahhto. I am heading the product development efforts of a revolutionary product to drive down costs in an extremely competitive industry where margins are super-low.

Moving back from California to Budapest, I joined the successful entrepreneur, Szabolcs Valner, founder of Vatera to create Digital Factory, one of the first startup accelerators in Hungary. Using all the experience I gained in the US, we launched a program to finance and mentor 2 batches of 10 software startups. Through our 3 months long program they solidified their pitch, business model, go-to-market strategy and finished their MVP.

During my transition from San Diego to Budapest, I helped an expat entrepreneur set up the local office in Hungary for Moshulu. With Moshulu we helped Hungarian and other Eastern European innovators enter the US market.

Out of collage, I was selected for a professional internship as part of HAESF’s program in San Diego, California at CONNECT. It was an incredible opportunity to learn about starting a company, securing financing, creating revolutionary products and building a network of local entrepreneurs and investors. We helped over 60 companies during that year to finalize their products and pitch their business to angels and VCs to raise their Seed round. I worked closely with founders (of startups like Discover Echo Inc - <a href="https://discover-echo.com/">https://discover-echo.com/</a>) and investors to help them achieving success.

During my masters I was seeking further challenges that I found in working as an Intern at PwC. At the Transaction Services department I was able to utilize my auditing experience to conduct financial due diligences of companies as a part of M&A transactions. However, I once again felt the Big4 world is not for me, the knowledge I gained during this time proved invaluable during my later engagements.

Advisory - Internship

With my degree in finance and account in my hand, I joined one of the largest advisory firms in the world as an auditor. Looking back I do not regret it a bit, however I figured out pretty fast this is not the environment I thrive.The most valuable lessons I learned was about customer relations, organizing an engagement, working as a team to achieve the goals we set together with clients and the value of hard (I mean REALLY HARD) work. To this day I find myself utilizing this experience in a completely different setting.
