Adam James

Adam James is a hardware engineer who is currently employed at Amazon Lab126, where he is involved in developing latest Alexa-powered consumer electronics. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics and Composites Engineering from Western Washington University, Adam's expertise in product design and development has garnered him several accolades in the field of hardware engineering. His previous experiences include mentoring at Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE), where he was responsible for teaching design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) concepts to the mentees. Adam also served as a Moldflow Specialist at Autodesk, where he developed simulation algorithms for the software. He has also worked as a CAD Teaching Assistant at Western Washington University and served as an Engineering Intern at Alpha Technologies.
