Adam Hearne, founder and CEO at CarbonChain, is a supply chain expert with over 15 years of experience working for large corporations including Amazon and Rio Tinto. His focus on technology and innovation led him to co-found CarbonChain, a platform that enables companies in highly polluting industries to track their supply chain greenhouse gas emissions in order to manage their transition to a low-carbon economy. Hearne's other previous roles include Senior Program Manager of Supply Chain at Amazon and Innovation Advisor at Rio Tinto. He holds a degree in Information Technology with honors, a Masters in Information Technology, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and an MBA from London Business School. Hearne is also a former tutor and trainer for Volunteer Refugee Tutoring and Community Support, a charity that helps newly arrived refugees settle in Australia.
