Microsoft Platform Architect

• The first knowledge management employee for the agency tasked to define the architecture of best practices and maintain the Knowledge Management (KM) program. Coached and developed team members to staff the knowledge champion program set to promote adoption and consistency.
• As a startup there was a unique opportunity to partner across the organization with senior leadership and their teams to develop content management strategies, setup the life cycle of information, and manage the quantitative and qualitative results of the KM strategy.
• Established the first citizen developer group for the government aimed at educating and empowering everyone with low code/no code skills.
• Cultivated new connections within my agency and externally across other federal agencies. Grew relationships with NASA, DOD, DOT and other agencies to create a Knowledge Management Career path by absorbing and adapting their proven techniques to improve how KM is done across the federal space.
• Overhauled the section 508/accessibilities delivery by evangelizing and hosting conferences to gain awareness. Launched a program aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace with 28 classes ran a year by volunteers touching on sensitive topics.
• Assessed, created a marketing program, and transformed the curriculum for M365 which spread a better message and awareness of features and capabilities of M365. Addressing the low adoption of M365 and increased ROI.

FEMA

Knowledge Management/Information Management

• Manage Disaster portals and Adobe Connect programs for the CIO office. Responsible for working with the Adobe Connect team to reduce the cost of on-premises storage by using Cloud storage to house all disaster functions and reduce complexity while increasing usage, coaching, and providing custom add-ins that better fit the organization’s needs. FEMA was later recognized by Adobe as an industry leader in the public and Private sector for our training portal and custom add-ins 
• Utilized Azure Active Directory to provide single sign-on, conditional access, and a single identity control plane for better cloud security. Implemented Intune to provide data security, app control and single sign-on.
• Provided strategic solutions to the CIO office regarding their mission needs and how they utilize M365/Azure.

Adobe Connect and Disaster Portals (SharePoint) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

• Architected new IT networks, planned equipment life cycles to help with the execution of a companywide M365 migration and windows 10 deployment.
•  Collaborated with various teams (Active Directory, Identity, SharePoint, Dynamics, VMware, SOC, NOC, etc) for implementations of new applications and policies for security requirements on the regional network. 
• Boosted IT relationships by working with senior management to create Service Level Agreements (SLA). The better communication with timely service improved customer satisfaction by 50% and reducing ticket resolution time from months to days.

IT Specialist

• Relocated the office infrastructure from Irvine, CA to Allen, TX while incorporating new hardware and software to decrease the cost of licensing and increase the return on investment. 
• Managed a team of support engineers that supported the entire company from the warehouse teams to the brick-and-mortar stores across North America and Sweden.
