Adam Dean

Adam Dean is the President and Founder of Dean Executive Search, a firm he established in 2017. He has extensive experience in executive search consulting, focusing on assessing leadership capabilities and building senior management teams across various industries, including financial services, private equity, and retail.12

Before founding Dean Executive Search, Adam worked as an executive search consultant at a leading global firm in Toronto, where he led numerous searches for high-level positions. His previous roles include serving as Chief of Staff to the Vice Chairman of CIBC and as an Executive Director in CIBC Capital Markets. He has also spent a decade in investment banking, primarily with CIBC Capital Markets, and has experience as a management consultant and in the tech startup sector.134

Adam holds an MBA from Ivey Business School, an M.S. from Northwestern University, and a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario. He is fluent in French and actively participates in cancer fundraising efforts, serving as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the Terry Fox Foundation.14
