Meet Adam Croom, an experienced higher education professional with over a decade of expertise in digital learning initiatives. As the Director of the Office of Digital Learning at the University of Oklahoma, Adam has led a team of instructional designers, instructional technologists, and media specialists in developing and implementing a variety of successful online programs ranging from MOOCs to fully-online graduate programs.
In addition to his leadership role in digital learning, Adam is also an Assistant Professor of Advertising in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He teaches advanced advertising classes that cover the history, process, strategy, and issues surrounding the advertising industry.
Adam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Advertising, from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University.
Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, Adam held various roles in marketing and PR, including Coordinator for Marketing and PR for Economic Development and Leasing and Marketing Manager at Paradigm Properties.
