Adam Bass is a Republican politician from Louisiana who previously served on the Bossier Parish School Board representing District 5.1 He is currently the Senator for Louisiana's 36th State Senate district, having won the election in 2023 with 62% of the vote.12

His political career began when he was selected to fill a vacancy on the Bossier Parish School Board in August 2019.1 He won a special election in April 2020 and was later reelected unopposed in November 2022.1 During his time on the school board, Bass served as president in 2022 and opposed mask mandates.1
