Yang Zhao is a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and product development, having held key leadership roles in renowned organizations such as Lime, Uber, Twitter, and PayPal.

Currently leading the Matching Intent team, Yang focuses on enhancing marketplace metrics by ensuring the efficient matching of rider and driver intent, thereby optimizing the core trip flow while balancing short-term gains with long-term sentiment impact.

With a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Yang Zhao also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from Zhejiang University and has pursued studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Yang's vast experience includes serving as Head of Product Engineering, Sr Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager at Lime, along with roles at major tech firms like Uber, Twitter, and PayPal.

Additionally, Yang Zhao has a background as a Teaching & Research Assistant at Stanford University and as Co-founder and Head of Engineering at Footstep Labs, Inc., displaying a multifaceted skill set across various domains.
