John Fink is a highly skilled film/media-maker, educator, curator, and non-profit arts executive based in the New York City area. He holds a Master's Degree in Media Study (Filmmaking) from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Hartford. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, John currently serves as the Artistic Director of the Buffalo International Film Festival, Inc., where he leads curation/programming, customer service, marketing, and strategic planning initiatives.

John's freelance production practice, Impact Cinemas LLC, produces high-quality works for non-profit organizations, start-ups, artists, and established brands. They offer a wide array of services, including video production, copywriting, and digital marketing.

In addition to his role at the Buffalo International Film Festival, Inc. and Impact Cinemas LLC, John is also a faculty member at Union County College and Raritan Valley Community College. He teaches film and communications studies and production courses both on-campus, online, and in the NJ-STEP program.

John has worked with several organizations, including The Film Stage, The College of Mount Saint Vincent, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Digital Media Academy, SUNY University at Buffalo, and Apple, Inc. His expertise includes film production, curation, programming, marketing, and communications.
