Bruce Gilbert

Bruce Gilbert is a highly experienced urologist specializing in male fertility and sexual function. He currently has a private practice in Great Neck and serves as the Director of Male Reproductive and Sexual Medicine at the Smith Institute for Urology of the Northwell Health System where he is also the Director of the Men's Health/Andrology Fellowship. Additionally, he is a Professor of Urology at the Zucker School of Medicine of Hofstra/Northwell. With additional Board Certification as a High Complexity Laboratory Director, Bruce is also the Medical and Laboratory Director of New York Cryo, a New York State Licensed Reproductive Tissue Bank, as well as the Laboratory Director of the Men's Fertility Laboratory, a New York State Licensed Andrology Laboratory. Bruce's extensive medical expertise and background in Electrical Engineering have led him to be appointed the President of Genecord LLC, an umbilical cord blood bank, and President and CEO of LifeLab Solutions Inc., a comprehensive resource for the human tissue banking industry. Bruce earned his MD degree from Cornell University Medical College and a Ph.D. in Renal Physiology from New York Medical College. He also serves as an officer in several companies and serves on the Medical Advisory Committees of several Reproductive Tissue Banks, as well as committees of the American Association of Tissue Banks. In addition to his impressive medical career, Bruce has also published a medical thriller novel entitled Inborn Error.
