Jan Hauters (杨候德) is a senior expert-generalist in education innovation and international relations. With a focus on the future of learning, STEM+Arts&Humanities-related education, the field of AI, and Computational Thinking in K-12 education, Jan champions initiatives that address global challenges and complexity. As a servant-leader, Jan coordinates designs and envisions integrative solutions that are of long-term value to communities. Jan has a background in EdTech R&D, pedagogy, information transfer, and public relations.

Jan currently serves as a consultant for the Creative Education Branch of the China Educational Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA), a non-profit initiative towards internationalization by supporting synergies and shifts into global futures of learning. Additionally, Jan has worked as the Director of Education Research (Innovations) at 4Dclass Education Technology Co. Ltd. where he was involved in strategizing, R&D, and conceptualization of technology-supported services towards High School students and their academic preparedness in China’s public education.

Jan is passionate about offering communities a human-centered yet contextualizing and transforming learning experience across multi-sensorial content and its supportive technologies. He specializes in the envisioning of converging media and tech theory into innovative praxis with participatory community and commercial applications, pedagogy, Inquiry and Problem-Based Learning, content and business strategy, conceptualization and production, editorial processes, creative and contract writing, negotiation, branding, and team leadership.
