Tom Nicholson is a Senior Data Scientist at Deeper Insights and an AI consultant with a wealth of experience in academia, research, and industry. Tom studied a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Machine Learning, Speech and Language Technology at the University of Cambridge and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews with a 1st in Computer Science, Maths and Psychology.

Tom has worked in various roles, including Research Assistant at Seoul National University, Machine Learning Researcher at Fetch.AI, and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at PROWLER.io. His experience in academia includes research intern and research assistant roles at the University of St Andrews, where he also studied.

Tom has an interest in bringing machine learning out of the labs and into people's lives. He founded a machine learning tech company as a consultant and has worked as a Technical Consultant at HP Autonomy, where he focused on big data and natural language processing.
