She has developed and tested recipes for magazines, culinary marketing firms, and individual clients with specific dietary needs. Her food and health talks in various community and corporate settings have inspired individuals to cook simple yet innovative meals in their own kitchens. Along with her editorial work, Lisa is a food writer with two cookbooks under her belt: Healthier Gluten-Free and The Big Book of Healthy Cooking Oils.
Lisa's educational background includes studying Certificate in French Language and Literature at Lyon Bleu Language School, earning a B.A. in German and Anthropology magna cum laude at Oakland University, and obtaining a Certificate in Spanish Language at Intercultura Sámara Language School. Prior to freelance work, she has worked as a Corporate Wellness Trainer, Recipe Developer, Cooking Instructor, Health Presenter, Technical Writer, and Office Manager/Translator (German and Spanish).
