My first commercial job, part-time. Taught me a ton of things about additional sales and retail sales in general. In my first year I managed to clinch myself to Kesko's "Mestarimyyjä"-sales person competition finals, but didn't have enough expertise on the product side to finish in the podium.

Overall I had great sales results in comparison to my working hours (#1 in the company) as my overall sales and sales margin was top-of-the-class among our sales staff.

Part-time job. Together with telesales this is probably the toughest environment to make a living.  I took the job just to understand the nature of it and challenge my limits as a sales person. I did this with part and later with full provision to understand what it is like to live without ensured wage.

Quite simple logistics between constructions and providers. Taught me that if you don't do your job properly you get canned. That's what happened to the guy whose holiday I was covering as I apparently was so much more efficient in the job than he was that the boss decided to release him.

First real summer job still as a minor. Mostly window washing and other general cleanliness related tasks. No experience, no finished education, no drivers license basically nothing to apply with so I just decided to walk in the office and tell I am tall and could be efficient as a window washer. They hired me instantly. Taught that you usually eventually get a job if you are persistent to get it.
