Martin Roodt is a mechanical engineer with over seven years of experience in the HVAC industry. He has worked with companies like WSP in Africa and New Zealand as well as RPP Consulting Engineers. He is a member of Engineering New Zealand and is in the process of becoming a chartered engineer. He has a degree and diploma from the Tshwane University of Technology.

Throughout his career, Martin has gained expertise in heatload calculations, system schematics, detailed design of chilled, hot water, and VRF systems. He is also proficient in preparing detailed project specifications, budget and fee estimates, tender adjudication, attending design and site meetings, and project management and administration. Furthermore, Martin is skilled in using various software like Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Microsoft Office, HAP 5.10, and Loadest.

As a responsible and deadline-driven person, Martin takes pride in his work and has extensive experience in third-party commissioning verification for LEED buildings and compiling defect lists. He is fluent in English and Afrikaans and is an excellent communicator.
