Ace Ujimori

Ace Ujimori is a multi-talented professional who has transitioned from being a Photographer to an EMT, then Chef, and now a UX Designer.

With a strong belief in designers' responsibility for their creations, Ace combines empathic thinking with practical design models to ensure that the designs resonate with their intended audience.

Having a diverse skill set, Ace is proficient in brainstorming, information architecture, user testing, wire framing, rapid prototyping, and problem-solving.

He is equipped with a creative toolkit that includes Post-its & Sharpies, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, and Omnigraffle.

Ace's educational background includes studying User Experience Design at General Assembly and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Photography from Brooks Institute.

Throughout his career, Ace has held significant roles such as Senior UX Designer at Aspen Dental, United Airlines, Peapod Digital Labs, and Roadrunner Transportation Systems.

He has also contributed his expertise as a UX Product Designer at Crafty, UX Designer at CSG International, Ulta Beauty, SPACE by Doejo, and Coder, among various other notable positions.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Ace has experience as an Assistant Instructor at General Assembly and started his journey as a Photographer at Ace Ujimori Photography.
