Ashley Elsey is a seasoned communications professional with experience in various industries, including telecom, commercial real estate, human resources, legal, nonprofits, and politics. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Managerial Studies and Political Science from Rice University. Ashley started her career at GTE Communications, now known as Verizon, and led the launch of numerous award-winning cause-related marketing programs. She is the owner of Minerva Consulting, a company she founded in 2003. In 2010, Ashley was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. During her tenure, she established the marketing and communications function from scratch and launched the Bush Center brand. She also collaborated with international leaders and organized international programs and events attended by individuals in the tens of thousands.
