With a Diploma in Computer Science from Universität Hamburg, Steffen has held various leadership positions at Siemens, including Global Head of Solution & Service Portfolio, Global Head of Building Performance & Sustainability, and Head of Division Building Technologies. Currently, Steffen serves as the Head of Sales & Operations for Siemens AG Smart Infrastructure, overseeing the life cycle business in Germany.

Throughout his career, Steffen has consistently demonstrated his expertise in building technology, building management systems, energy efficiency, sustainability, building automation, portfolio management, smart buildings, digitalization, security systems, fire safety, big data, data analytics, and IoT. He believes that smart buildings and data analytics have the power to revolutionize the way people live and work, and is passionate about finding new ways to leverage technology to improve building performance and sustainability.
