Lloyd Mintz, an expert in brand management, new business development, and licensing, has built his remarkable career on identifying market trends and commercial opportunities, offering his clients an edge in the industry. Holding a BA in Government from Wesleyan University, and having pursued an MBA in Marketing at The Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, Mintz has served as the Senior Vice President of Genius Brands International, Inc. and the Founder and Principal of Nine Oaks Group, an esteemed consultancy.
Mintz also worked as the Vice President of Consumer Products and Executive Vice President of Global Licensing and Business Development for Galaxy Brands, LLC and And1 Basketball/Avia, respectively. He also has experience working as the Manager of Toy Licensing at Disney Consumer Products and as the Vice President of Licensing at Hasbro, Inc.
Throughout his career, Mintz has won a reputation for his ability to conceive, negotiate, and secure brand partnerships and licensing rights, implement brand monetization strategies and intellectual property analysis, lead ideation and concept generation efforts, conduct valuations, and offer expert witness services in licensing and intellectual property cases. His successful endeavors include a master toy deal with PBS for a range of PBS KIDS pre-school toys, the first license ever granted by PBS, and a co-branded game program for UNO and MAGIC 8 BALL licensed from Mattel, Inc.
