He has held various executive roles in top firms such as Manulife Canada, Finastra, SecureKey Technologies, The Co-operators, and ADP. With a proven track record, Hugh has led product development and engineering teams, SaaS start-ups, and spearheaded numerous technology transformations.

As Chief Information Officer and Head of Technology at Manulife Canada, one of Canada's largest and most trusted financial brands, Hugh is leading the firm's digital transformation efforts in group, individual insurance, and Manulife Bank. Before this, he served as the Chief Technology Officer, Platforms at Finastra, where he supported over 9,000 clients worldwide across 40+ Product Lines and powered 47 of the top 50 Global Financial Institutions.

Hugh has also served as a Board Member, Strategic Advisor, Executive Vice President, and Chief Information Officer across different organizations. Some of his notable career achievements include building and launching an Open Banking Platform for the third-largest Global FinTech, leading product management teams for over seven years, and raising over $100MM in venture funding.
