Jeremiah Blatz is a seasoned security expert with a diverse background in web development, software engineering and user interface design. Blatz studied Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, where he gained the skills and knowledge necessary to design user-centric web applications. Before becoming a security expert, he worked at various positions, including Technology Lead at Community Connect, Sr. Programmer/Analyst at Interpublic Group of Companies and Principal Security Consultant at Symantec.

He started his security career as an Interaction Designer/Systems Engineer for MAYA Design, where he honed his skills in cybersecurity to become a full-time security professional. He was previously the Director of Security at Blink Health, the Regional Manager at NCC Group, and the Senior Consultant / New York Practice Manager at Matasano Security. Additionally, he was also a Managing Consultant at Foundstone and Sr. Manager, Security Research and Operations at Etsy.

His current role is Security Engineering Manager at Google, where he works to develop high-quality security solutions to protect against cyber attacks.

Jeremiah Blatz has extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on web application security. He has a strong background in both offensive and defensive security, including the ability to break into systems as well as implement countermeasures to protect against intrusions.
