Lily Herman is a talented writer, editor, and digital strategist who focuses on topics at the intersection of politics, culture, and wellness. She has made significant contributions to several major publications, including Forbes, Mashable, Newsweek, MTV, TIME, USA TODAY, Teen Vogue, Elle, and Cosmopolitan.
Lily's background in writing and journalism began as a freshman at Wesleyan University when she co-founded TheProspect.net, one of the most popular college admissions and youth lifestyle websites in the world. As editor-in-chief and CEO, she oversaw The Prospect's team, which consisted of over 140 editors, writers, and interns publishing an average of 30 pieces per week.
Her professional experience includes editorial positions at Her Campus, The Muse, and HelloFlo, and she has been named one of Glamour's Top 10 College Women (now College Women of the Year) in 2015. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Sociology from Wesleyan University.
Along with her writing and editing roles, Lily is a podcast producer and co-host for "Choosing Sides: F1" at 101 Studios, the former Election 2020 columnist for Teen Vogue, and a former visiting instructor in Public Policy and Koeppel Fellow in Journalism at Wesleyan University.
