Niels Kooiman is an accomplished aerospace engineer turned business developer and project manager, with experience working for global companies, including Semmtech B.V., INCONTROL Simulation Software, and Damen Shipyards Group. He studied at the prestigious Murmellius Gymnasium before undertaking a Bachelor's degree and Master of Science degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology and Flight Performance and Propulsion at Technische Universiteit Delft.

Niels boasts a wealth of experience, having previously worked as a Regional Service Manager in the Asia Pacific region, an Assistant Project Manager, and a Graduate Student, all for the Damen Shipyards Group. He has also undertaken an Engineering Internship at Airbus. In addition to his technical competencies, Niels is a formal member of the Damen Leadership Development Program, which has helped hone his project management and leadership skills.
