Jeremy Burton is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for using technology for social good. He has founded nine companies in his career and has been involved in the sale of two of them, including Symbian, which was sold to Nokia. With a focus on marketplaces, Jeremy has been actively involved in the tech industry for years, from his brief stint as an investment banker to his executive roles at companies like Razoo and Fundly.
Jeremy's background includes law school before he embarked on his career as an entrepreneur. He dropped out of law school to pursue his passion for tech, and he has been making a difference in the industry ever since. His experience spans across diverse roles that include co-founder, CEO, chief technology officer, and venture capital consultant.
He is currently the co-founder, CTO, and board member at Wonolo, where he works to give people jobs every day. He is also a former advisor for Setter and Blis, where he helped the team with his expertise. Additionally, he has served as an executive in residence at Ariadne Capital and was co-founder and chief software architect at Intuwave Ltd.
Jeremy is grateful to work with a fantastic team at Wonolo, where he combines his love for social good with technology to create a meaningful impact in people's lives. He splits his time between San Francisco, Ho Chi Minh City, Nashville, and Toronto, where he has a global outlook on the tech industry.
