Abua Ikem

Abua Ikem is a highly experienced College Professor with over 15 years of expertise in leading a Department, serving as an Application Scientist, and conducting research in Water Quality & Food Toxicology.

With an educational background that includes a Doctoral degree and a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, coupled with an MBA, Abua Ikem possesses a strong foundation in QC/QA, method development, wet chemistry, and the utilization of advanced analytical instruments like ICP-OES, UHPLC-MS/MS, and P & T GC-MS.

Abua Ikem's academic journey includes studying at renowned institutions such as the University of Ibadan in Nigeria for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as completing a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wales in Cardiff, UK.

Throughout his career, Abua Ikem has held various roles at Lincoln University of Missouri, including Professor of Analytical Chemistry & Department Head in the Agriculture and Environmental Sciences department. He has also worked as an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Laboratory Manager at the same institution. Prior to his time at Lincoln University, Abua Ikem gained experience as a Research Associate at Tuskegee University.

Abua Ikem's contributions extend beyond academic roles, as he has been actively involved in the development of research laboratories, fostering student engagement, and enhancing learning outcomes for students under his mentorship.
