Abraham Avi Ashkenazi

Abraham Ashkenazi is a highly knowledgeable neurologist with a wealth of experience in the field of Headache Medicine. Graduating from The Hebrew University with a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine-Preclinical and an MD in Medicine, he went on to complete two prestigious fellowship programs focused on Headache Medicine, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Ashkenazi has an impressive portfolio of research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications, specifically on headaches. His notable research has earned him the American Academy of Neurology Wolff-Graham Award for exceptional achievement in Headache Research. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Dr. Ashkenazi has also been invited to co-author several book chapters in leading textbooks on headaches.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ashkenazi has held various positions such as Neurologist; Director, Stroke Program at Doylestown Hospital, Pennsylvania, Neurology Consultant at The Neurologic Group of Bucks/Montgomery County, and Neurologist at Doylestown Health. He has also worked as an Attending Physician at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, and as a Clinical and Research Fellow at both Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. Ashkenazi is working with veterans who have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) during service, assessing them for neurologic residuals of that injury. He also holds the position of Neurology Consultant at The IMA Group.
