Abin Kuriakose

Abin Kuriakose is the Executive Vice President of Innovation & Venture Strategy at World Business Chicago, a public-private partnership focused on economic development and job creation in Chicago.

With a background in public policy and entrepreneurship strategy, Abin leads various innovation and venture programs at WBC, including the Chicago Venture Summit, Startup Chicago, ThinkChicago, and Venture Engine.

Prior to joining WBC, he held roles in Cook County Government, where he was involved in policy development and community engagement. Abin also serves on advisory councils and is active in various organizations, such as the Illinois Asian American Caucus.

Abin's expertise lies in public-private partnerships, tech-based economic development, entrepreneurship strategy, public policy, and civic engagement. He is a mentor for Techstars and UChicago's Harris School of Public Policy.
