Abigail Rollins, also known as Abi, is a prominent arts executive and nonprofit leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the performing arts sector. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Berkshire Opera Festival (BOF), a position she has held since 2019. Education and Early Career
Abi Rollins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Psychology from Kenyon College and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Boston University. Before her role at BOF, she was the General Manager and later the Managing Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company in Boston for nine years. Her career also includes positions at notable organizations such as the Trisha Brown Dance Company, Lyric Stage Company, and Boston Ballet.12

In June 2024, it was announced that Abigail Rollins will transition to become the Executive Director of Berkshire Pulse, starting July 15, 2024. In her new role, she will focus on enhancing community life through diverse programming in the creative arts.24
Rollins resides in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, with her husband, Matt, who is an associate professor of theater and a freelance scenic designer.2
